Taking the first step toward therapy can feel vulnerable, overwhelming, or even a little intimidating. My hope as your therapist is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment, pressure, or the need to have everything figured out. I believe meaningful healing happens when we feel safe enough to be honest about our experiences and supported enough to explore them at our own pace.
As an immigrant and bilingual clinician who provides therapy in English and Portuguese, I deeply value cultural humility and the opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences. I believe each person’s story deserves to be understood within the context of their relationships, culture, values, and lived experiences.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional and behavioral difficulties, self-esteem concerns, and other challenges that can impact daily life and well-being. My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, and I strive to meet each client where they are while adapting our work to fit their unique needs, strengths, and goals. Together, we can explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges, and work toward greater self-awareness, healing, and connection.
Outside the therapy room, I enjoy going to the gym, hiking, trying new restaurants, cooking, reading, thrifting, and spending time with my partner, close friends and family.
